How Remote DDoS Protection Works
Our Remote DDoS Protection safeguards your entire network from DDoS attacks. When you activate the service, you will be assigned a protected public IP address (or addresses) for your server(s). All traffic is routed through this remote address, allowing real-time deep packet inspection to absorb and block malicious traffic, while only clean traffic is forwarded to your servers.
You can install our router application on Windows or Linux servers, which automatically establishes a secure connection between our network and your server, typically via a GRE tunnel or reverse proxy.
All traffic is filtered in real time with minimal latency, mitigating layer 3/4 attacks instantly. Advanced protection rules provide full layer 7 validation and heuristic analysis, ensuring coverage against even the most sophisticated attacks. Rules can be easily managed via the control panel, and advanced users can automate rule management through our API.
